Sydney Opera House, located in the bay of Sydney Harbour, is masterpiece of modern architecture and a symbol of Australia. It was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, following an international architectural competition in 1957. It’s unique use of gleaming white sail-shaped shells as its roof structure makes it one of the most-photographed buildings in the world.
